Corporate Branch Manager, Payment Solutions - Vancouver ****FILLED****


Overview 

As the Corporate Branch Manager, you will lead, manage, and direct a dynamic team of sales executives, dealers, and operations support professionals. You lead by example to build solid client relationships, drive sales, and promote best practices to deliver results. You will coach and train our high performance branch team to create and maintain a selling pipeline. You will be responsible for the achievement of high impact service delivery across all roles to external and internal clients.

Responsibilities

Branch Management

  • Analyze the branch's market potential for sales opportunities, recommend and implement new or enhanced sales and marketing methods for generating market share growth and profitability.
  • Assist in development and execution of a regional marketing plan (local events and seminars.)
  • Determine branch budgets and lead the branch to successfully meet/exceed budget targets.
  • Customer credit evaluation and overall branch pricing strategy and product deployment.
  • Immediate execution on both organizational and team priorities to achieve business results.
  • Comply with all company rules, policies and procedures and appropriate laws and regulations.

Team Management

  • Manage team activities including selection, training, development, and ongoing performance management - in a fair, professional, consistent, and timely manner.
  • Supervise, coach, and motivate team members to service excellence to achieve/exceed branch and organizational goals.
  • Sales pipeline management and coaching - leading an integrated sales team to meet and exceed new business results.
  • Long range planning for team selection and skill development.

Client Management

  • Establish and facilitate business relationships with potential clients, building confidence so that they will choose us as their provider of choice for payment solutions.
  • Corporate customer financial needs analysis and coaching of team members.
  • Maintain knowledge of customer accounts and activity; respond appropriately to customer inquiries or complaints and conduct follow up to ensure satisfactory response and resolution.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Economics or Finance - preferred.
  • Minimum 4 years previous management experience including budgeting.
  • Previous sales management experience within the financial services and/or foreign exchange industry - an asset.
  • Solid sales planning, management, customer service, team building, and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated closing abilities and drive for sales.
  • Effective listening and interpersonal communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated skill development and coaching experience.
  • Conflict resolution training and coaching.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, negotiation and follow up skills.
  • Strong financial statements analysis skills.
