Demand Generation Manager, Vancouver BC (JC-DGQ): Completed
Our client wants to take traditional marketing further, developing and executing Demand Generation programs that target customers and create revenue. Beyond lead generation, this role will align itself closely with sales, collaborating with the sales team to help generate prospects in specific target markets and then turn those prospects into customers.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that the company's products and services are recognized as leaders within the target market
- Position the product offering in such a way that they are seen as meeting all standard criteria within their sector, and having the flexibility to meet specific requirements of individual customers
- Work closely with the sales team to evaluate leads, and ensure that ongoing marketing efforts are all aligned to supporting closing
- Evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and programs, using marketing analytics to understand both strategies and associated tactics
- Work with the Marketing Manager to ensure consistent messaging and to maximize opportunities in the target market
Requirements
- At least 5 years in tech marketing, most recently specializing in Demand Generation
- Proven ability to design programs, plan their rollout and then execute effectively
- Skilled in SEO, SEM, Webinars, viral marketing and email marketing
- Demonstrated abilities in applying metrics to marketing efforts, quantifying the ROI
- Experience in positioning technology solutions over time, through a long sales cycle and over the course of lengthy (multi-year) customer relationships
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Commerce or other related discipline.
