Project Coordinator (SW) – Burnaby (AD-PC) ***ON HOLD***

As Project or Product Design Coordinator, you will coordinate the design effort on a variety of product initiatives in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment. Your role is to coordinate activities and tasks to innovative solutions to real market problems. Position reports to the VP Development.

This is not a formal BA or Project Manager position, but the incumbent will perform tasks related to both areas, while working with the product designers/software developers, business folks, SMEs and executives.

Job Description:

  • Presents information clearly and effectively verbally and in writing with appropriate format, to multiple levels of internal and external audience;
  • Effectively organizes complex tasks independently to ensure specified objectives, timeline and quality requirements are met;
  • Takes a broad business perspective in making decisions;
  • Bases decisions on reasonable assumptions and a thorough analysis of all relevant information;
  • Anticipates the impact of decisions; thinks clearly and acts effectively under adverse conditions;
  • Works effectively across organizational, functional and geographic boundaries to complete project objectives;
  • Demonstrates interpersonal skills and tactful communications.

Mandatory Skills:

  • A degree or diploma from a recognized institution
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a comparable role
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Able to work with cross functional teams
  • Needs to be proactive and have initiative
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Software knowledge: MS Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint) and MS Project
  • Experience within a health care environment is an asset
