Senior Embedded Software Engineer - Vancouver

Job Description
You will be responsible for the architectural design and implementation of new product functionality from concept through production. This will include interaction with customers and internal stakeholders to identify product needs and possibilities.
Requirements:
- Very High technical competence
- 10+ year’s experience, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant hands-on technical experience with embedded software and protocol stack development as well as a record of individual technical achievement.
- Prior experience managing within an R&D organization which is small and entrepreneurial
- Demonstrated experience in the development and delivery of commercial real-time software applications.
- Prior experience in working with the Qualcomm CDMA stack is essential.
- Prior experience with networking and communications products and protocols. Experience with GPS or WiFi would be an asset.
- Knowledge in network management strategies, tools, and protocols.
- Experience in product development lifecycle would be an asset.

- a honest communicator, effective at all levels; has the ability to articulate vision and strategy to senior leaders while maintaining team focus on technical direction and day to day operations.
- Effective project management skills; capable of multi-tasking and moving a number of different agendas to successful conclusion.
