Senior Flash Developer – Vancouver (AD-F) ***FILLED***

A young and dynamic social games startup based in the Railtown is looking to hire a Senior Flash developer.

Responsibilities

• Front-end development in Adobe Flash Player 10 using ActionScript 3.0 and Flash Builder 4.
• Work closely with designers, producers and artists during development to design and implement the best end-user experience.
• Work within an agile/iterative environment.
• Develop unit tests and test scripts.
• Write technical documentation for code and code design.

Requirements

• At least 3 years programming and developing advanced Flash (ActionScript 3) applications.
• At least 5 years programming professionally.
• Experience and understanding of design patterns and MVC frameworks. Specifically pureMVC.
• Ability to quickly prototype and iterate towards production-level quality.
• Ability to quickly adapt to established work flows and processes.
• Experience with back-end programming work in some (or all) of the following languages: PHP, Ruby, XHTML, JavaScript/CSS, AJAX, and MySql.
• Experience with 3d programming a plus (e.g., Papervision, Away3D, Sandy3D or Molehill).
• Knowledge of Subversion, or other revision control tools.
• Experience and understanding of object-oriented design principles.
• Experience with multi-user application development.
• Experience with Flex 3/4 a plus
• Knowledge of web application security is a plus.
