Our client is a leader in industrial measurement and control applications. Their technology supports the 3D measurement needs of many of the world's largest OEMs and System Integrators in industries such as molten metals, welding, tire manufacturing, wood processing, automotive, and transportation.
Job Summary
As a key member of the marketing team, the Web Developer will use their creative talents to continuously evolve, develop and maintain our corporate website. Using the Drupal (or similar) CMS you will support our vision and maintain our brand image consistency on the web.. The culmination of your efforts will be an increase in awareness of the company and our products as illustrated by an increase in overall site traffic and qualified leads.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
- Maintain existing website by creating and deploying new content
- Create new websites to support marketing communications initiatives
- Manage and implement SEO activities
- Provide strategic web-marketing recommendations in order to increase site traffic, improve communication clarity, and generate qualified leads
- Provide weekly metrics reporting on site traffic and conversion
- Additional responsibilities as required
Requirements
- A degree or diploma in Website Development and Design
- Post-Secondary degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience showing proficiency and results as a website designer or web master
- A CSS master with significant experience using Drupal CMS (or Wordpress)
- Proficient in HTML, JavaScript, and Flash products
- Big-picture vision with the drive to make that vision a reality
- PHP preference
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word & Excel
- Excellent communication skills (oral & written)
