The Opportunity:

Our client specializes in board governance tools for the public sector. From credit unions and crown corporations to non-profits, and health care, their tools help boards organize, manage and communicate, saving time and providing value to every board member. They have experienced significant success in recent years and are looking for a key player to supercharge their growth.

About the Role:

Our client is looking for an Inside Sales Representative with experience selling into Education, Health Services or Government. You are a hunter by nature and are skilled at digging into an organization to find the gatekeeper and decision makers and then closing them on a solution. You are highly entrepreneurial, and able to find successful methods to reduce close time and increase the number of closes. This position reports directly to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and target new opportunities

  • Demonstrate and sell SaaS subscriptions to boards across North America in the public sector

  • Leverage insights to get decision makers to the table

  • Deliver compelling presentations and proposals

  • Confidently handle objections from stakeholders as part of advancing the sale

  • Represent the company at trade shows and conventions to generate leads and new business

Experience & Qualifications:

  • 2+ years track record consistently meeting and exceeding SaaS software sales targets

  • Experience in selling into the public sector, particularly higher education and healthcare

  • Demonstrated ability to independently handle the full sales cycle through the close, including prospecting, discovery, presentation, demonstration, opportunity analysis and qualification, proposal generation and closing

  • Entrepreneurial experience in creating and testing a new sales process

  • Driven to succeed – confident in ability to adapt and overcome adversity/objections

  • Honest, trustworthy and able to earn trust from prospects and key stakeholders

  • Experience working on a small team owning the sales process from beginning to end
