Lead Software Engineer - Node + Kubernetes/Docker (AD_LSE) ***Completed***
Our clients is an established SAAS provider with global customers consisting of large and prominent media brands. They are expanding their team, and looking for someone that can take the technical leadership of a small, dedicated and experienced team – with a focus on containerization.
Responsibilities:
Use your expertise and knowledge to improve software and processes
Provide effective technical direction and mentorship to the development team
Perform code reviews of source code developed by team members
Develop well documented, highly scalable services and APIs.
Requirements:
7+ years of application software development experience
5+ years in Javascript with strong proficiency
Strong experience with the Node.js ecosystem
Strong leadership and mentoring skills
Working experience developing highly scalable services and APIs
Working experience with Kubernetes and the k8s ecosystem
Working experience with AWS and infrastructure as code
Relational database experience
Nice to have:
Experience developing interfaces using React
Experience architecting and implementing CI/CD
Log streaming experience, i.e. EFK stack
Experience with secrets management, i.e. Vault.
