Featured Organization for Social Change

Social Venture Partners Vancouver (SVP Vancouver) is a network for senior business leaders who care about their communities. The organization seeks to catalyze significant, long-term positive social change by encouraging individuals to be well-informed, effective, and engaged philanthropists, and investing time, expertise and money in innovative not-for-profit organizations while helping to strengthen them in the process.

SVP Vancouver was established in 2001 by a group of successful entrepreneurs and is grounded in the model of venture philanthropy - time + talent + treasure ($) + ties - to increase organizational capacity in local non-profits that serve children and youth at-risk.

A Culture of Support

Corporate Recruiters is a Team of Purpose-Driven People that Support Organizations that have a Positive Impact on our Community by:

  • Providing our professionals with a healthy and progressive environment that positively influences their well-being and satisfaction.

  • Operating ethically and responsibly, guided by a strong code of ethics and good governance.

  • Investing resources into organizations devoted to British Columbia’s success and global competitiveness in the high technology industries.

  • Investing resources in organizations that make our community stronger, safer and more equitable for all our citizens.

  • Improving the environment through environmentally-friendly operating practices and supporting organizations that offer green community service activities or green IT offerings.

Supporting the BC Tech Ecosystem

Our team has always supported industry organizations such as Acetech, Vancouver Enterprise Forum (VEF), the BC TECH Industry, entrepreneurship@UBC (e@UBC), the Victoria Innovation, Advanced Technology and Entrepreneurship Council (VIATEC), and others.

We have been a sponsor of Acetech for 25+ years and continue to be the only original sponsor to this day. We support Acetech because of their effective commitment to the education and development of growth-focused, entrepreneurial tech CEO’s.

We have supported the Vancouver Entrepreneurs Forum (VEF) as a sponsor and on the board for over 20 years. We share the values of the organization that strives to bring tech leaders together to discuss the challenges facing society and economic growth with science and tech solutions.

We were a contributing member during the formation of the BC Technology Industry Association (BCTIA), and continue to support BC Tech as a unified voice for BC’s tech industry.

We have collaborated with entrepreneurship@UBC (e@UBC) from its inception 10 years ago.

We have supported the Victoria Innovation, Advanced Technology and Entrepreneurship Council (VIATEC) as a sponsor and on the board. We support VIATEC as the voice for Vancouver Island’s tech industry and entrepreneurs.
